Planning for the future can be purchasing a site where houses are popping up in cornfields, and it can be building a large full-service branch with plenty of drive-up capacity in a suburban location where few walk to the bank. It can be including extra offices and lobby space to allow for complete financial services in one location.
In the first of four similar offices we handled for this client, Daniels and Zermack designed the full-service 4,800 sq. ft. branch to house an active retail function. Placing the teller stations at the back of the building allows customers to be personally greeted by platform officers and customer service representatives. It also locates the drive-up tellers adjacent to the inside teller stations to minimize staffing requirements.
