MSU Federal Credit Union – Headquarters Building 2
With the completion of this multiple-year project, the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union’s 185,000 sq.ft. second headquarters building was completed summer of 2017. The building doubles the space available on the campus providing new space for their quickly-growing E-Commerce, Call Center, and Information Technology departments.
The new building provides open, well-lit spaces to promote collaboration and workplace well-being. Design goals included a sustainably efficient building that, while still possessing a unique character, also clearly relates aesthetically to the original Headquarters building, also designed by Daniels and Zermack. The building features a raised floor for air distribution, power and data connectivity. This flexibility allowed the Credit Union to easily make adjustments to the interior open office environment even as the construction progressed to respond to their latest needs and will facilitate future changes as the Credit Union continues to grow at an accelerated pace.
